I've been wanting to getall the doe kids clipped but after I clipped Tokyo my Clipmasters started cutting on and off and only working half the time. And using the A5s for the entire body was a little difficult because the #10 blades were starting to get dull, I don't think I'd sharpened them since the Spring Show in May. I like to clip the bodies with Clipmasters and the head, neck, feet, legs, etc. with A5s. I managed to get a little bit done with the Clipmasters before figuring out that they need the cord replaced. Hopefully someone will get around to doing that one of these days. It took me twice as long as usual to clip her but with LOTS of Kool Lube and oil and going very slowly, I coaxed the now very dull #10's to finish Alabama.
And I couldn't be more pleased with what I found under all that hair:)
Bam is very long, level doeling with excellent feet and legs. She is very dairy and angular, nicely uphill with very nice depth of body for her age. I really like the result of this linebreeding.
she will be one of my milking yearlings next year and hopefully I can get her to Harrisburg:)
