Well, my demon-doe decided to be ‘good’ for once! Iris
followed Reb’s example and went into heat this morning. It is usually EXTREMELY
hard to tell when Iris is in heat, but I left the buck in with the 2 Nigerian
does over night which is the only way I knew. She doesn't show ANY signs of
heat most of the time, even if she is in a pen next to a buck, so I was very
glad to have caught her in heat today! So hopefully we will have two Nigerians
freshening in January (assuming they both settle). Rebekah is due January 19
and Iris on the 20th.
All of
Rebekah’s kids will be for sale, and most of Iris’s (one doeling retained).
Rebekah's doelings are $200, Iris's $250 and all bucklings/wethers are $150.
Reservations open now! Visit our website, http://oneringfarm.weebly.com/ for more information on 2016 Nigerian
babies.
We won’t need Orion until December when we breed Loretta,
so he is available for stud. Contact me for pricing. Driveway breedings only!
