May babies...
Well, I didn't really want them but I suppose I get them anyway. Bam came back into heat today which was weird because I bred her November 18. That was 27 days ago so I had thought she settled. Apparently she had other ideas!
I rebred her to Google instead of Taxman, so I have a better chance of getting a Google daughter in the spring. I would have taken the trailer and brought Google home today but the truck is being used elsewhere and we didn't really want to put him in the back of the van. So we'll probably pick him up sometime this week. I'm desperately hoping none of the other doelings come back into heat so nobody else has to be rebred-one doe kidding in May is enough! She should freshen in time to be shown at the spring show on Memorial Day weekend as long as she doesn't kid too late. All doelings are retained out of Bam.

Some pictures of the girls during chores...
I was able to get some pictures during evening chores last night, most of the girls as looking very pregnant! First kids aren't due for a month and a half but some of the does look about ready to pop!
These pictures were taken at night so they aren't great...that would be why it appears their eyes are glowing:)
The girls waiting patiently to be fed
The doelings enjoying the benefits of their long torturous wait-
Some of the older girls, they have to be separated to be fed since they really like to fight over food:)
Look how big they're getting! I'm really hoping for multiples.
Poppy's still pretty small though so I'm thinking another single, the same as the last 3 years.
Tansy is HUGE, I think she might be having triplets this year or at least 2 large kids. I just hope however many she has are does!
Not a very good picture but this is our new buck shed. We hope to be picking up our new Alpine buck sometime this week!
And last my little helper, Jude. He is the youngest of 7 LOVES to help feed the goats.(His favorite is Poppy)
