Merry Oaks Oreo's Tokyo Rose

I've started clipping down the Alpine doelings one at a time to get a few pictures and see what kind of kids are under all their masses of hair:)
The first one to say good-bye to all of her hair was Tokyo Rose.

She is maturing into a gorgeous little doe!! Very dairy, long and level throughout with excellent feet and legs. I can't wait to show her this year at the NC State Fair. She is a very good example of the kids Adonis produces. Tokyo will be bred this year for a late April freshening. This little beauty is definitely on my list for Harrisburg PA next year!!

Her dam, Merry Oaks Oreo, was one of our first kids born on the farm,back in 2010.

2015 breeding plans(August)

Breeding season starts NEXT MONTH for Merry Oaks Farm!
In order to have milk year round, I'll be breeding 2 does in August, so if everything goes as planned we'll have some January babies.

Iris is the only Nigerian I'm breeding this year. She'll be 6 next year. All of Iris's kids will be for sale. Doelings $250. Bucklings $200. Wethers $150

Sweet Flowers Tansy

Tansy is our oldest doe and herd queen. She gave us a beautiful doeling this year, Merry Oaks Tansy'sTwist&Shout and I considered retiring her, as she will be 10 next year but decided to breed her one more time. All of her kids will be for sale. Wethers $150. Doelings $250.

She'll be bred to Adonis again this year.
